Beloved Beverly Hills spots bringing high-quality eats to your home

From work and schools closing to staying home nearly 24/7, life feels far from normal at the moment, and during these uncertain times, there is nothing more comforting than a meal from your favorite restaurant. While we might not be able to dine out right now, a number of Beverly Hills spots have kept their doors open for takeout and delivery orders, allowing us to bring our go-to restaurants home and dine in any day of the week. Next time you don’t feel like cooking or are craving a chef-quality meal, look no further than these beloved Beverly Hills eateries that are delivering right to your door.

La Scala

Celebrating 60 years in business, La Scala is a quintessential Beverly Hills lunch and dinner restaurant famous around town and beyond for its famous chopped salad. La Scala, born in 1956 as the labor of love of Spanish-born chef Jean Leon, from the get-go carved its niche as one of the city’s leading Italian restaurants. As the first restaurant in Los Angeles to make its own handmade pasta and the first to serve white truffles, La Scala quickly became known as the Italian hot spot in the city, attracting Hollywood’s elite and the attention of high-status individuals visiting Los Angeles, including six US presidents. In addition to Leon’s legendary chopped salad, La Scala’s no-frills menu is packed with Italian comfort food and plenty of options for every taste and mood, from linguini with clams to eggplant parmesan. La Scala is currently open for takeout and delivery, serving up lunch and dinner Monday through Saturday.

Spago

Just because we are stuck at home doesn’t mean we have to give up fine dining. Bring the experience of high-end gastronomy home with delivery from Spago, one of Beverly Hills’ most buzzy, sleek bistros serving classic California cuisine. As the flagship restaurant of the Wolfgang Puck Fine Dining Group, Spago has a reputation for simple yet elevated fare that incorporates fresh and seasonal ingredients. Over its 38 years in business, Spago has become an integral piece of LA’s restaurant history.

While takeout and delivery would seem to be a foreign concept for an establishment famed for its exceptional service and curated tasting menu experience, Spago is offering its critically acclaimed cooking for curbside takeout and delivery, Wednesday through Saturday, 4:30-8:00 p.m. For $59 per person, you can bring fine dining home with an appetizer sampler, entree selection from halibut, salmon, jidori chicken, lamb, or New York steak, and dessert. Also available for delivery from Spago’s award-winning wine cellar are wine, beer, and spirits. Those who want to create a deluxe meal of their own can order farmers’ market boxes full of fresh fruits and vegetables from local Spago suppliers, including Weiser Family Farms, Scarborough Farms, and Mudcreek Farms. Check back regularly as the menu is adjusted based on ingredient availability.

Crustacean

If you are like most people and rely on professionals to cook seafood properly, the acclaimed dishes from Crustacean will not disappoint. A staple on the Beverly Hills fine dining scene, Crustacean provides an exceptional and memorable experience through its expertly prepared and high-quality Vietnamese-inspired menu. While takeout and delivery cannot replace the restaurant’s gorgeous surroundings and the experience of dining above an underground aquarium, Crustacean’s chefs have created a special menu to continue serving seafood and outstanding cuisine, despite the fact that we can’t dine out right now.

From Tuesday through Sunday, 12:00-8:00 p.m., you can choose from a menu of small plates, entrees, and daily specials that stay true to the spirit of Crustacean’s cuisine. In addition to the crowd-pleasing crab puffs, coconut prawns, broiled turmeric red snapper, and Dragon Fried Rice, Crustacean is introducing a secret menu for takeout and delivery with dishes inspired by founding chef Helene An’s famous garlic noodles. From roasted Maine lobster to Dungeness crab, the secret kitchen menu is a must if you’re looking for the perfect meal for a special night in. Crustacean is also offering an on-the-go bar menu featuring homemade wellness drinks, like Turmeric Elixir and Soursop Booster — both for immunity support — alongside sommelier-selected wine and “Pop & Pour” cocktails to-go.

Da Pasquale Trattoria

Another Italian favorite, Da Pasquale Trattoria is a cozy Beverly Hills establishment recognized for its homemade pasta and passion for family cooking. Despite today’s unusual circumstances, Da Pasquale is committed to maintaining its excellent menu and continuing to serve its loyal customers by offering delivery and takeout options for its entire menu. Whether you are looking to bring a piece of Italy home for a romantic date night or need an affordable yet fresh and satisfying meal for the family, look no further than a pizza, pasta, salad, or seafood dish from Da Pasquale. In addition to its delicious food, Da Pasquale Trattoria is offering a discount on all wines on its list, making it a breeze to find that perfect pairing.

With its beginnings as a Taiwanese cooking oil shop, Din Tai Fung pivoted into the restaurant world in 1972 and never looked back. Today, Din Tai Fung is an internationally recognized player in the dim sum space, specializing in noodles and dumplings with locations all over the world. While you can’t go wrong with anything on the menu, the traditional pork soup dumplings made Din Tai Fung famous and for good reason. With a vast menu for every craving and dietary preference, Din Tai Fung is the place to order from for an at-home dim sum feast. Open all week, Din Tai Fung offers pickup and delivery from its Westfield Century City location, making it easier than ever to take the night off from cooking and take a trip to Taiwan right from your dining table, living room, or wherever you choose to enjoy meals.

Zinqué has also kept its market open for curbside pickup, making everyday essentials, like eggs and pasta, available alongside specialty items, such as fresh burrata, Rosette de Lyon salami, prosciutto, and La Colombe coffee. Zinqué is also offering its collection of French wines, including white, red, rosé and Champagne varieties, at a 50% discount for pickup customers.
